The Seattle Mariners acquired relief pitcher Ricardo Sanchez from the Atlanta Braves for cash considerations, the club announced Thursday.
Sanchez, 21, made 13 starts for Double-A Mississippi in 2018, finishing 2-5 with a 4.06 ERA. The left-hander was designated for assignment by the Braves on Monday.
Sanchez was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Los Angeles Angels in 2013. He was acquired by Atlanta in 2015.
