It is time for some SEC football predictions, as I do each week on SportsRadioWNML.com here on my blog, Vince’s View.

The point spreads are simply as a gauge of favorites with straight-up winners, not picked against the spread.

2018 Week 10 Prediction Record: 4-3
Season Prediction Record: 64-20 (76%)

SATURDAY, NOV. 10

Vanderbilt (4-5, 1-4 SEC) at Missouri (5-4, 1-4 SEC)
Series: MIZ leads, 6-3-1
Noon ET • SEC Network
Last: MIZ, 45-17 (2017 at Nashville)
Columbia, Mo. • Memorial Stadium – Faurot Field (71,168)
Sirius: 94/119 • XM: 190/192
Line: Missouri -16
Vince’s View: Two straight games Missouri hasn’t been challenged at all by opponents with weak passing games, yet the Tigers still rank 119th in pass defense. That lack of challenge changes with Kyle Shurmur, Ke’Shawn Vaughn and the Commodores. Which Mizzou shows up? Who knows, but that’s why I think Vandy has a great chance to win..
Score Prediction: Missouri 38 Vanderbilt 35

South Carolina (5-3, 4-3 SEC) at #15 Florida (6-3, 4-3 SEC)
Series: UF leads, 26-9-3
Noon ET • ESPN
Last: SC, 28-20 (2017 at Columbia)
Gainesville, Fla. • Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Steve Spurrier-Florida Field (88,548)
Sirius: 98 • XM: 191
Line: Florida -6 ½
Vince’s View: These are two teams headed in the opposite direction over multiple games. Florida’s previous solid QB has evaporated and the defense has not been itself the last few weeks. South Carolina’s explosive offense will be the difference.
Score Prediction: South Carolina 31 Florida 20

Ole Miss (5-4, 1-4 SEC) at Texas A&M (5-4, 3-3 SEC)
Series: TAMU leads, 7-3
Noon ET • CBS
Last: TAMU, 31-24 (2017 at Oxford)
College Station, Texas • Kyle Field (102,733)
Sirius: 133 • XM: 207
Line: Texas A&M -12
Vince’s View: Jimbo Fisher is riding the ups and downs of QB Kellen Mond. Texas A&M is 120th in turnover margin. Ole Miss’ offense is explosive, but it all depends on if the defense can manage enough stops. Hard to expect that when you’re 124th in total defense. I don’t expect it, but what the heck, this season has made little sense in the league besides Bama.
Score Prediction: Ole Miss 42 Texas A&M 38

#16 Mississippi State (6-3, 2-3 SEC) at #1 Alabama (9-0, 6-0 SEC)
Series: UA leads, 80-18-3
3:30 p.m. ET • CBS
Last: UA, 31-24 (2017 at Starkville)
Tuscaloosa, Ala. • Bryant-Denny Stadium (101,821)
Sirius: 94/81 • XM: 190/81
Line: Alabama -23
Vince’s View: This isn’t a matter of if, but by how much. Bob Shoop’s defense has great stats, but Tua and Team Tide are so much different.
Score Prediction: Alabama 42 Mississippi State 14

#11 Kentucky (7-2, 5-2 SEC) at Tennessee (4-5, 1-4 SEC)
Series: UT leads, 79-25-9
3:30 p.m. ET • SEC Network
Last: UK, 29-26 (2017 at Lexington)
Knoxville, Tenn. • Neyland Stadium (102,455)
Sirius: 119/192 • XM: 135/210
Line: Kentucky -5
Vince’s View: UK is looking for its first win in Knoxville since 1984. It’s possible Kentucky could have a letdown after losing on its opportunity to shock the world and win the East. However, the Wildcats have too big of an advantage at the line of scrimmage and should be able to overcome that sloppiness I expect at times. UT is highly inconsistent, so this could be a bounce back game. The Vols haven’t played well at home, however. Plus, the cold weather could impact both teams making a lot of guys uncomfortable.
Score Prediction: Kentucky 24 Tennessee 14

#24 Auburn (6-3, 3-3 SEC) at #5 Georgia (8-1, 6-1 SEC)
Series: UGA leads, 58-56-8
7 p.m. ET • ESPN
Last: UGA, 28-7 (2017 SEC Championship Game)
Athens, Ga. • Sanford Stadium (92,746)
Sirius: 119/98 • XM: 192/191
Line: Georgia -13 ½
Vince’s View: Auburn has played better the last two games. However, the new Georgia is here to stay. The Bulldogs continue to look like a playoff-caliber team, even with Bama looming in their way.
Score Prediction: Georgia 38 Auburn 21

#7 LSU (7-2, 4-2 SEC) at Arkansas (2-7, 0-5 SEC)
Series: LSU leads, 39-22-2
7:30 p.m. ET • SEC Network
Last: LSU, 33-10 (2017 at Baton Rouge)
Fayetteville, Ark. • Reynolds Razorback Stadium (72,000)
Sirius: 81/94 • XM: 81/190
Line: LSU -12
Vince’s View: Typically, Arkansas gives LSU teams all kinds of fits. I think the Razorbacks will play a spirited, close game but they are too short of playmakers to make enough happen against that stout LSU defense.
Score Prediction: LSU 27 Arkansas 20
