Here’s a complete list of University of Tennessee players in the National Football League as the 2018 season heading into Week 2 of the NFL season.

I’ve included some notes, jersey numbers and depth chart positions of VFLs in the NFL. You will also see the list of players with local ties to the Knoxville area or didn’t end their college careers there. Plus, see some tremendous numbers and rankings on colleges represented in the NFL and much more courtesy of the NFL Communications office, including where UT ranks.

A LOOK AT 2018 NFL KICKOFF WEEKEND ROSTERS;

ALABAMA LED ALL COLLEGES WITH 44 NFL PLAYERS​

SEC COUNTRY: Alabama had the most players on NFL Kickoff 2018 active rosters with 44, the NFL announced today. LSU, who ranked second in 2018 with 40 players on Week 1 rosters, tied for first with Alabama in 2017 with 39 players on Kickoff Weekend rosters and had previously ranked first in 2016 (42 players), 2015 (40) and 2014 (38).

A total of 261 colleges were represented on Kickoff Weekend active rosters. The colleges with the most players in the NFL:

THE TALL AND SHORT OF IT
: On NFL Kickoff rosters, there were 294 players weighing under 200 pounds, 291 players under six-feet tall, and 357 players weighing over 300 pounds.

The New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers each have 13 players weighing less than 200 pounds, the most in that category. Carolina has the most players under six-feet tall with 14, while Pittsburgh has 14 players weighing over 300 pounds, the most in the league.
