Vince’s Super Bowl Prediction: Minnesota Vikings over Jacksonville Jaguars

Vince’s View
The Eagles have the best roster in the league, but it’s not by a wide margin. It is so rare to repeat that I don’t see the Eagles being special enough to do it. Yeah, the injured guys that didn’t get to play in the Super Bowl have an edge, but do enough of the other guys that now have arrived? In the end, I’ll say no. So, the next best team is the Vikings. Minnesota gets Dalvin Cook back, they’ve upgraded at QB and OL, plus they are nasty as ever on defense. The Saints and the Rams have plenty of talent to be in this mix as well. The NFC is much deeper with quality teams than the AFC. The biggest AFC improvement will come from the Texans, who get Deshaun Watson, JJ Watt and others back. The Jaguars are so good on defense and efficient on offense that they will rise above the typical AFC choice, the Patriots, whose margin of error continues to shrink. Pittsburgh has too many issues and selfish stars. Nobody else is ready to challenge in that conference unless Deshaun Watson has an MVP year and the team stays healthier than usual. The Texans are your darkhorse if you’re looking for a different non-New England Super Bowl representative from the AFC.
